FAQ
IS THIS A DROP-OFF CO-OP
No, our co-op is not a drop off co-op. Parents must stay on campus with their child.
ARE PARENTS REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER?
Yes, every parent involved in our co-op is required to volunteer. You can sign up to teach a class or assist in a classroom. Every parent is also responsible to help clean up the building we meet in and set up for lunch or parties.
WHAT ARE YOUR SAFETY GUIDELINES?
Every adult working with our children must pass a background check.
Every child must check in upon arrival.
All doors to enter our co-op building will be locked at 9:15AM. To enter after 9:15AM, you will need to call and speak with a director.
Visitors may only attend co-op if they are coming with a current member or have scheduled an approved visit with a director. Please see the "Request a Visit" page in order to schedule a visit.
Attendance is taken during every class.
Students may only leave co-op with the approved parents/guardians given at the time of registration.
For an added layer of safety, children in nursery and preschool will be assigned a number during check-in, and the parent will be issued a card with that corresponding number. The card must be presented to the worker when the parent comes to pick-up their child.

DO YOU OFFER "CORE CLASSES" SUCH AS ENGLISH, MATH AND SOCIAL STUDIES?
At this time, we only offer related arts classes. However, we do incorporate aspects of academic classes. For example, during Public Speaking, students will study states, countries, continents, and historical figures. Based off information he/she has learned, they will give a presentation on a state, country or historical figure of their choice. The presentation will be given during an "End of the Year" banquet with family and friends.
DO YOU OFFER RELATED ARTS CLASSES FOR MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL?
At this time, we are focusing on building a strong preschool/elementary program. However, we do have the space/ability to add middle school classes. We also have several parents with experience teaching this age level. If we have five or more children in 6th through 8th grade interested in taking classes, we will begin to implement classes for them in January of 2023.
IS NURSERY AVAILABLE?
Yes, nursery is available for children 24 months and younger. Cost of nursery is $12 per semester.

CAN I CHOOSE TO HAVE A YOUNGER OR OLDER CHILD STAY WITH ME DURING CO-OP?
The answer will always be yes! We will never tell you that your child cannot be with you at any time. You are the parent!
If you do choose to keep your child with you, we ask that they not wander around the room or become a distraction during class. Please also know that directions given to students during activities or materials passed out during class will not be given to children who are not enrolled in the appropriate age level class.
